Corina has almost 20 years of experience in paper engineering and pop-up books, and during that time has worked with some of the most well known names in children’s books. She relishes the challenge of creating dynamic three-dimensional designs that bring the narrative alive, yet are robust enough to withstand enthusiastic handling. As well as providing the element of surprise that a pop-up should bring, Corina also loves the medium because of its educational potential and hands-on nature.
Corina studied Graphic Design at Central St Martins School of Art, and then completed a Masters in Visual Communication at the Royal College of Art, where she further developed her three-dimensional work. She has since lectured at many colleges including returning to Central St Martins as a visiting tutor.
Corina lives near Lewes in East Sussex and is represented by Caroline Walsh at David Higham Associates.
